AISA congratulates the farmers on their historic victory. The courage and resilience that the farmers have shown in the last year against imposition of company raj by Modi govt will be a lighthouse of hope and struggle for the generations to come. This victory proves that the people and their collective will are the driving force to defeat pro corporate and anti people policies.

The government and RSS BJP machinery left no stones unturned to delegitimise this movement. With the help of the Godi Media, they tried to brand the protestors as ‘terrorist’,foreign-funded agents’ and what not! Even the martyrs who lost their lives part of the historic movement were not spared by the vitriolic smear campaigns run by the embedded media houses. But the farmers, with their exceptional zeal, wisdom and courage, through collective action and unity defeated the machinations of BJP-RSS.

We express our heartiest joy and solidarity to the farmers over this victory and seek to draw inspiration to intensify the movement for the repeal of CAA-NRC-NPR, Labour Codes, NEP and UAPA with renewed energy and vigour.
